Dr Kanagaraj is a cardiac electrophysiologist practicing with the Georgia Heart Institute. He is board-certified in cardiac electrophysiology, cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, and internal medicine. His main clinical interests include the treatment of heart rhythm disorders, catheter ablation, cardiac device implantation, and understanding the causes of dysrhythmias to prevent them. Dr Kanagaraj has been a trailblazer throughout his career. As one of the few electrophysiologists in Hawaii, he started the state's first lead extraction program. He also launched the EP program at a large community hospital in the Tampa Bay area and was the first to provide zero fluoroscopy complex ablation at the university hospital.
