A Flowery Branch native, Maddie grew up playing sports and went on to play college basketball at the University of North Georgia (UNG) before deciding to pursue a career in nursing. She earned her master�s degree in nursing from UNG and spent four years working in NGMC Gainesville�s Emergency Department, treating patients of all ages and conditions.
