Dr Damiani began practicing in 1990, after earning her medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She did her internship and internal medicine residency at Saint James Olympia Fields Hospital in Olympia Fields, and Chicago Osteopathic. It's important to have a better understanding of the individual patient, their families, their environment, and the impact of that on mind, body, and spirit. I strongly believe in patient-centered care. I like to listen to patients and involve them in decision making, recognizing they are individuals with their own unique values and preferences. This helps lead to long-term partnerships. I have patients whom I have followed for more than 25 years. That is most rewarding.
