What I Do I chose family practice because I enjoy caring for patients throughout their entire lifespan. I strive to develop long standing patient relationships and am focused on teaching patients about maintaining a balance for optimal health. Why I Love My Work I knew even as a little girl that I wanted to be a Nurse Practitioner. I love to create connections with my patients and am interested in their entire story. My history of working with oncology patients has helped me understand that there is more to a patient than a diagnosis. Sometimes an open heart and listening ear soothes the soul.
