What I Do I believe in a whole-body approach to caring for my patients. Every part of our body is linked together and we cannot work to improve one area without considering the whole body. My special clinical interest is in caring for patients who have experienced a stroke. Why I Love My Work I always knew I wanted to help people. Working in health care as a registered nurse and nurse practitioner has given me the opportunity to serve and help my patients. I have worked with neurological patients for my entire career. Now, in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, I have the opportunity to see my patients from the time they are in the hospital and after they have returned home.
