Dr Jaglan knew early in his training that he wanted to be a surgeon. He settled on pediatric orthopedic surgery during his residency after observing how a mentor took care of his young patients, as well as their parents. “I liked his demeanor, how he made the parents and children happy, and I decided I wanted to take care of kids.” He went on to complete advanced training in pediatric orthopedics.
Working with children as young as newborns, he sees everything from complex scoliosis and cerebral palsy to broken bones and club feet.
