As a gastroenterologist and transplant hepatologist, I treat liver conditions and take care of patients before and after they undergo transplantation procedures. I appreciate the opportunity to positively impact the lives of patients who are critically ill and guide them through the transplant process. It is deeply rewarding to help them recover and achieve a better quality of life. I chose a career in medicine because it allows me to utilize my scientific knowledge to help improve patients’ lives.
