Lisa M. Pabst
Lisa Pabst, MD, joined the University of Utah School of Medicine’s Department of Pediatrics as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Pediatric Neurology. She completed her medical degree at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston prior to completing a combined Pediatric Neurology residency followed by a Pediatric Stroke fellowship at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and The Ohio State University. Dr. Pabst specializes in the care of children with stroke and other cerebrovascular disorders as well as neurocritical care. Her research efforts focus on effective implementation of hyperacute systems of care for infants and children presenting with acute stroke to improve long-term outcomes. She has additional interest in utilizing acute telehealth networks to increase rapid recognition and assessment of infants and children presenting in rural locations with neurologic emergencies.Services
