Gopi Penmetsa, M.D. is an Associate Professor in the Division of Rheumatology, Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Utah. He is a general clinical rheumatologist who sees patients with all forms of rheumatic disease including ankylosing spondylitis. My clinic focuses on evaluation and treatment of patients with Spondyloarthritis. He received an M.B.B.S. at Andhra Medical College and an internship at King George Hospital, Visakhapatnam, India. He completed his internal medicine residency, rheumatology fellowship and geriatrics fellowship at the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dr. Penmetsa joined the University of Utah School of Medicine in 2014.
