Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: Since the age of eight years old, I knew that I was going to be a nurse. It has been a life-long calling for me. I have always been drawn to helping women and babies, so midwifery was a natural path for me. I have always said, I did not choose this profession; it chose me. What I want my patients to know about me: Caring for women during pregnancy and birth is a privilege I respect and honor. I am lucky to be one of the few who can honestly say that I love what I do. What I do when I'm not seeing patients: I am a mom of two teenage boys, so I enjoy what time they allow me to spend with them! I love spending time outside, sitting by a campfire, riding motorcycles, reading, hiking and camping.
