Matthew began his nursing career in Michigan, working for over seven years in surgery, cardiovascular and critical care. After graduate school, he and his family moved to Coos Bay, Oregon, where he practiced as a cardiovascular nurse practitioner before moving to Salem to join the vascular surgery group. He enjoys hiking with his family, is an avid University of Michigan and Detroit sports fan and competes with his wife in Jeopardy!
