Dr Houssam Osman graduated from medical school at the University of Khartoum in Sudan and then completed his general surgery training at Western Reserve Care System and Akron General Medical Center. After finishing general surgery training, Dr Osman then completed fellowship training in malignant and benign diseases of the pancreas, liver, gallbladder, and bile duct diseases at Methodist Dallas Medical Center, one of few training programs in such a subspecialty across North America to which Dr Osman was recruited after his fellowship. Dr Osman also specializes in diseases of the esophagus and the stomach in addition to general abdominal surgery.Dr Osman is married and has two children with whom he spends the majority of his free time.
