Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: It has been in my nature to help people since I was a small child. After spending many years as a registered nurse in the Emergency Department and Labor & Delivery, I was ready for a new challenge in healthcare. Having this background has allowed me to quickly and efficiently assess and treat patients in an Urgent Care setting while having the ability to listen and remain a caring presence. Medicine and science are ever changing. This is what holds my interest. New treatments, revelations and discoveries keep me excited to continue learning and practicing with WellSpan.
