Benjamin Chou, DO
As a Taiwanese-American immigrant, Dr Chou had a strong conviction to give back and serve those in need. He joined the United States Army as a combat medic and was deployed to Afghanistan as part of a field surgical team, and consequently, started his journey to becoming a surgeon. Dr Chou graduated from the University of Utah and was accepted to the College of Osteopathic Medicine at the Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences, where he received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.). This was followed by a general surgery residency at Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU). At the completion of his general surgery training, Dr Chou stayed on and completed his vascular and endovascular surgery fellowship at OHSU.
