Teresa “Lorraine” D’avanzo graduated from Loma Linda University in 1993. She is an occupational therapist who has specialized in upper extremity orthopedic rehabilitation since 1993. In 2010, she achieved her certification in hand therapy. Her passion in treatment has been on teaching and educating patients about their injuries and focusing on improving healing through self-management and positive follow-through. In her career, she has been able to incorporate programs into treatments such as graded motor imagery and lymphedema management. Outside of work, she has a passion for travel. Her home consists of her husband and her dog, BO. Frequent visits with her 2 grown children tops her favorites list.
