Marshall Jemison, MD, is a native of Memphis, Tennessee, and graduated with honors from Washington and Lee University. He subsequently completed his general surgery internship and orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine - Chattanooga at Erlanger. Dr Jemison’s training then included a one-year fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at the Indiana Hand Center, one of the world’s leading centers in providing additional training for orthopaedic surgeons specializing in hand and upper extremity care. His training also included a fellowship in hand trauma management in Switzerland with the AO Group.
