Dr. John Quinn is fellowship trained in spine surgery and sees patients at the Spine Center at UT Physicians Neurosciences at the Texas Medical Center. After graduating magna cum laude from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, Dr. Quinn earned his medical degree at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, where he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his neurosurgery residency in the department of Neurological Surgery at Rutgers University Hospital and Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center in Newark, where he was chief resident. During his residency training he completed an enfolded fellowship in spine and scoliosis surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery and Weill Cornell Department of Orthopedic Surgery in New York City. Following his residency training, he completed an additional fellowship in spine deformity surgery in the department of Neurological Surgery at the University of Virginia Medical School in Charlottesville. Dr. Quinn has been recognized with many academic honors and awards, and has co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and more than 10 book chapters. He has presented research nationally and internationally.
