Gabriel Anzueto, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained pediatrician specializing in developmental and behavioral pediatrics. He sees pediatric patients and provides customized treatment plans for each individual based on their unique needs. He believes in family-centered care that focuses on helping each child reach their full potential biologically, socially, and psychologically. Anzueto’s clinical interests include autism, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, anxiety, Down syndrome, Fragile X, Rett syndrome, global developmental delay, speech and communication disorders, the use of alternative and augmentative communication (AAC), and health disparities in the Spanish-speaking population. He is the medical director of the Dan L Duncan Children’s Neurodevelopmental Clinic at the Children’s Learning Institute at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, where he’s also an assistant professor and Raghuthaman Family Professor in Pediatric Neurology and Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics in the Department of Pediatrics. Outside of work, Anzueto enjoys playing golf and serving as a volunteer Boy Scouts leader.
