Dr. S. Keisin Wang is a vascular surgeon at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston). His surgical practice focuses on vascular and endovascular surgery, emphasizing complex aortic disease, limb ischemia, and carotid artery disease. Dr. Wang’s clinical focus is on treating and managing aortic disease, peripheral vascular disease, carotid arterial disease, mesenteric disease, and dialysis access and management. He treats teens, adults, and seniors. Dr. Wang believes that patients should be treated like family. His goal is to empower, educate, and guide patients and their caregivers, so they make well-informed decisions. To minimize confusion and deliver top-quality care, Dr. Wang encourages direct communication to address questions and concerns. Dr. Wang has authored and co-authored over 70 journal articles and abstracts on vascular and endovascular surgery. These publications focus on complex aortic disease, limb ischemia, and carotid artery disease. He has received several academic awards, including one from the Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Medical Society, for recognition for his work and research. He is an active member of the Society of Vascular Surgery, American College of Surgeons, and Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery. In his free time, Dr. Wang enjoys spending time with his wife, two children, and the family’s two dogs. He follows college football and cheers for his favorite team, Penn State. He also enjoys the local Houston food scene.
