Martin J. Citardi, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained rhinologist focused on disorders of the nose and sinuses. His special clinical interests include refractory sinusitis, revision sinus surgery, CSF (cerebrospinal fluid) rhinorrhea, computer-aided (image-guided) surgery, and minimally invasive anterior skull base surgery. Citardi, an internationally recognized rhinologist, serves as professor and chair of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology — Head and Neck Surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. He is certified by the American Board of Otorhinolaryngology, and he’s a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, the American College of Surgeons, and the American Rhinologic Society. Citardi has over 75 publications and has edited a computer-aided otorhinolaryngology textbook. He has served as director and information technology officer for the American Rhinologic Society.
