Taiwo Babatope, MD, MPH, MBA, is a child and adolescent psychiatrist with extensive training and experience. Her clinical interests include neurodevelopmental and mood disorders. Babatope believes in a collaborative approach to interdisciplinary, evidence-based clinical care. She continuously explores innovative therapies to provide the best possible care to her patients. She’s an assistant professor in the Louis A. Faillace, MD, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, where she also serves as program director of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Program. In addition, Babatope is the director of the medical school’s autism spectrum disorders and neurodevelopmental disorders specialty program and a telemedicine provider with the UTHealth Houston Child Psychiatry Access Network (CPAN). Babatope is a member of the American Psychiatric Association (APA), the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP), and the Texas Society of Psychiatric Physicians.
