Yousuf Gaffar, MD, is called to medicine to translate the rapidly changing fields of oncology and hematology at an individual level to his patients. His desire is to contribute to advancements in the fields of oncology and hematology through clinical trials. Dr Gaffar treats: breast cancer, lung cancer, gastrointestinal (GI) cancers, genitourinary (GU) cancers, blood cancers, and benign and malignant hematology. The procedures he performs include: chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, and iron infusions. Dr Gaffar attended the Saba University School of Medicine for his MD. He completed his Residency and Chief Residency at Robert Wood Johnson. His master of science in Oncology/Hematology is from USF-Moffitt Cancer Center.
