Robert Berkenblit, MD

Robert Berkenblit, MD, FACR, is Associate Medical Director at the Montefiore Imaging Center and Associate Professor of Radiology at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Since joining the Montefiore team in 1996, his clinical interests include utilizing CT scans, ultrasound, and MRIs to evaluate the abdomen and pelvis, particularly the genitourinary system and the adrenal glands. He also has a special interest in utilizing an open MRI system to evaluate the abdomen and pelvis. In 1986, Dr Berkenblit received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at SUNY at Albany. He then attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he received his Doctor of Medicine in 1990.
