Rayan Carter, DO
Dr Carter, a specialist in child and adolescent psychiatry, treats a range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder and personality disorders. Inspired to pursue psychiatry at age 16 based on his experience as a skateboard instructor, he came to learn that mental health can significantly impact anyone regardless of age, gender or socioeconomic status. Working at the skatepark, he found it rewarding to help kids gain confidence through skateboarding. It also inspired him to do more by pursuing psychiatry and using psychotherapy and medications to support mental health. Away from the office, Dr Carter enjoys fishing, mountain biking, cooking and spending time with his wife and cats.
