Johannes Bonatti, MD, is an internationally recognized expert who received his medical degree from Leopold Franzens University in Innsbruck, Austria, and completed residencies in Cardiac Surgery, Vascular Surgery, and General Surgery at the University Clinic of Surgery in Innsbruck, followed by internships in Trauma Surgery, Internal Medicine, and Anesthesiology at the General Public Hospital Kitzbhel, Austria. Dr Bonatti has performed over 5,000 cardiac surgeries, in addition to being the first physician world-wide to perform a robotic endoscopic quadruple coronary bypass surgery. Bonatti has three children with his wife, Elfi, and enjoys mountain biking and skiing - he is a former member of the Austrian Freestyle Ski national team.
