Dr Ibrahim Sultan is a cardiac surgeon and is certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery and cardiothoracic surgery by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. He earned his medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College and completed his residency in general surgery at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr Sultan subsequently completed his residency in cardiothoracic surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he also served as an advanced fellow in thoracic aortic surgery and minimally invasive valve surgery. His clinical practice includes all aspects of adult cardiac surgery with an emphasis on aortic surgery, minimally invasive valve surgery, and advanced coronary artery disease.
