Nicole Fava

Before I became a physician assistant, I worked as an athletic trainer at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. For more than a decade, I helped keep UNC's elite national championship women's soccer and women's rowing teams strong, healthy and competitive. During that time, I also worked with a regional program designed to prepare girls for Olympic-caliber soccer.
In my current role, I conduct new, follow-up and pre- and post-operative patient evaluations; develop treatment plans; order and interpret diagnostic testing; give injections; and assist in surgery.
Before moving to the Lowcountry, I worked as a PA in Asheville, North Carolina.
