I love family medicine because we get to know our patients, their health and their stories deeply. We are able to form connections built on trust, and that helps me be a better provider. I start building that relationship by listening to each patient. I look for ways to help them take control of their own health, and commit to working with them to make lasting changes.
Painting is one of my favorite activities when I am not working. My specialties are watercolor and acrylics. I also enjoy practicing yoga to keep me centered and relaxed.

A career in healthcare was always a possibility for me. During the summer of my first year at University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill, I went on a medical relief trip to Honduras. Seeing the help that I could provide even as a freshman made me even more invested in becoming a healthcare provider to give back to my community.I love family medicine because we get to know our patients, their health and their stories deeply.
