Since then, I have worked in private practice, in academic medicine and as an OB-GYN hospitalist. High-risk obstetrics and preventive healthcare are among my clinical interests, and I also enjoy coaching patients on how to have a healthy pregnancy, which includes exercise.
I am a board-certified Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
In my free time, I enjoy following spending time with my two children, running, mountain biking, and cheering on the South Carolina women's basketball team.

After graduating from the U.S. Air Force Academy and serving four years on active duty, I enrolled in medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina. I wanted to go into medicine because it allowed me to combine my love of science with my passion to help others and I specialized in obstetrics and gynecology because I love being involved in women's health.Since then, I have worked in private practice, in academic medicine and as an OB-GYN hospitalist.
