As a family physician, I encounter and manage many common medical conditions such as hypertension, hyperlipidemia and diabetes. I aim to help my patients address these medical problems through lifestyle modifications in addition to medications. It’s easy to tell patients they need to eat a healthy diet and exercise, but I think it is important to be mindful that this looks different for every patient.
