Following her graduation, Dr. Alkhader began her medical career with an internal medicine residency at Jordan University Hospital, where she honed her clinical skills and developed a deep commitment to patient care and medical education. Her residency at JUH laid a strong foundation in internal medicine, which is marked by her professionalism, leadership, and dedication to evidence-based practice.
In 2019, Dr. Alkhader relocated to the United States to further her medical career and joined the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). At MUSC, she undertook another internal medicine residency. While at MUSC, she actively engaged in academic research, particularly in transplant nephrology, and pursued advanced training in point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS).
Dr. Alkhader’s professional credentials include ECFMG certification, ACLS certification by the American Heart Association, and American College of Physicians membership. She is also CITI certified, demonstrating her commitment to ethical research practices.
