Dr Sekar received his MD and PhD from Harvard Medical School. He then completed his residency training in internal medicine at Brigham and Women's hospital, followed by hematology/oncology fellowship training at Dana-Farber/Mass General Brigham. He is an attending physician in the Lymphoma Division and the Center for Early Detection and Interception of Blood Cancers. His research focuses on pre-cancerous states preceding leukemia and lymphomas, with the ultimate goal of preventing their progression to blood cancers and other adverse clinical outcomes.
