By providing high-quality, individualized care for patients with heart and vascular disease, I aim to help people achieve their life goals. For some of my patients, this means being able to attend a major life event. For others, it might be being able to walk a few blocks outside. Our team helps people define what matters to them most and develops care plans designed to get patients living on their terms. My grandfather died of a heart attack at the age of 45. I never got to meet him, but, even decades after his passing, I could see the lasting impact his sudden death had on my family. I know that many families have a story like mine. One of the reasons I became a cardiologist is to be a trusted resource for my family as they navigate their health issues. My hope is that my patients also see me as their personal guide to help them achieve their cardiovascular health goals.
