Shipra Gupta, MD, FAAP, is an attending physician at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein and Assistant Professor, Pediatrics at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Her clinical focus is in the diagnosis and treatment of infections in children as well as recurrent bacterial infections. After completing her medical education at Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Memorial Medical College in Kanpur, India, Dr Gupta came to the United States for postgraduate training at Children’s Hospital of Michigan. She completed her pediatrics residency in 2012, was Chief Resident until 2013, then completed a three-year fellowship in pediatric infectious diseases in 2016.
