Jarod A. Richards, MD
Jarod A Richards, MD, is a fellowship-trained sports medicine orthopedic surgeon who performs arthroscopy through primary arthroplasty of the knee, hip and shoulder. He is a native of the Kentuckiana area and is thrilled to return to take care of UofL athletes and patients. After graduating valedictorian from North Harrison High School, Dr Richards attended the University of Southern Indiana as a Presidential Scholar. His medical school was completed at Indiana University School of Medicine where he graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha honors. Dr Richards returned to Louisville for his orthopedic surgery residency where he was voted by faculty to the role of Chief Administrative Resident and twice won the Resident Researcher of the Year award.
