Originally from Egypt, George Hanna, MD, immigrated to Canada as a child, excelling in academics and community involvement. He earned his bachelor's degree with honors from the University of Toronto and his medical degree from Ross University, where he served as Class President. Dr Hanna's commitment to excellence led him to prestigious institutions for his clinical rotations, including John Hopkins and the Cleveland Clinic. He completed his Internal Medicine (IM) residency at GDCHC and Griffin Hospital in Connecticut, affiliated with Yale University, earning accolades such as Intern of the Year, Resident of the Year, and the Earl Baker Humanism Award.
