He distinctly remembers reading a book about the digestive tract in fifth grade, which started his interest in gastroenterology. He comes to TriHealth after six years as an assistant professor of digestive diseases at the University of Cincinnati. As a board-certified gastroenterologist, Dr Al-Khedr sees adults for the diagnosis and treatment of conditions involving the digestive tract, including inflammatory bowel disease, abdominal pain and gastrointestinal bleeding. He assures that his patients feel listened to and understood, gathering as much information as possible to make a better evaluation.
