As a psychologist, I strive to help each patient feel listened to and taken seriously. I hope that together we can figure out what factors may be driving unhappiness, distress or pain, and address those factors one by one. Through individual or group treatment, patients will learn strategies to manage health problems and improve their quality of life. I use evidence-based treatments and work with patients and their other providers to ensure individualized care. In addition to clinical work, I also conduct research. My research focuses on two main areas: Improving access to behavioral health care for people with gastroenterological conditions Understanding how sleep problems can impact inflammatory bowel disease
