I am always here for my patients and want them to understand what is going on with their eye health and vision. During an exam, I tell my patients what I’m looking at while I examine their eyes. I carefully explain my findings and what, if any, steps they need to take next. I am happy to answer my patients’ questions before, during, and after their exams. If my patient brings family members or others to their appointments, I include them in the discussion and answer their questions. The most important part of the exam is the dilated eye health portion. There are many times when I have discovered previously unknown systemic health issues by evaluating my patients’ eyes. Knowing that I can find these issues and help my patients get the proper treatment is incredibly fulfilling. Whether I’m helping my patients with medical eye care or helping them see better with their new glasses or contact lenses, I know I am positively impacting their lives. I enjoy a good laugh! I enjoy getting to know my patients and sharing smiles and laughter with them. My goal is always to help my patients feel comfortable and confident in their eye care.
