Dr. Steven Pisano, a Texas native from Waco and San Antonio, earned a B.A. in Biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin and an M.D. from UT Health Science Center-Southwestern Medical School. He completed general surgery training at UT Health San Antonio and SUNY Buffalo, and plastic surgery training at UT Health Houston, followed by a microvascular fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center, focusing on breast reconstruction. In 1994, he co-founded PRMA in San Antonio, performing over 3,000 breast reconstructions. Board-certified and active in legislative advocacy, Dr. Pisano is dedicated to healthcare access and supporting women with breast cancer.
