Dr. Whipple, originally from upstate New York, moved to Texas to join PRMA after being impressed by the advanced care offered at the practice. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in biology from Siena College and earned her medical degree Cum Laude from Albany Medical College, where she was among the top 5% of her class. With a longstanding interest in art, particularly anatomical illustration, Dr. Whipple combined her passion for patient care and artistic talent into a career in plastic surgery. During her residency at Albany Medical Center, she received the James Edmond Award for Academic Excellence three times, recognizing her exceptional knowledge, mentorship, and surgical skills. She further honed her expertise in microsurgery and complex cases during a fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, known for its advanced microvascular breast reconstruction. Dr. Whipple is dedicated to women’s health and breast cancer reconstruction, and she is enthusiastic about working with a team that shares her commitment to these areas.
