Nicole Prusak is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a subspeciality in Holistic Care. She has been working closely with collaborative physician, Dr. Douglas Scherr since 2016 to offer comprehensive patient care within the department of Urologic Oncology at Weill Cornell Medicine. She has experience collaboratively managing a variety of patients with urologic and oncologic diseases such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, renal masses, bladder cancer, as well as benign urologic disorders. Nicole independently manages, diagnoses, and treats a variety of patients with benign urologic issues including but not limited to elevated PSA, hematuria, lower urinary tract symptoms, benign prostatic hypertrophy and renal cysts. She runs Dr. Scherr's Survivorship Clinic offering care and follow up to patients at and after one year from their cancer treatment. Additionally, Nicole runs the penile and sexual rehab program for patients experiencing issues secondary to surgery including injection therapy and patient education. Nicole completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at The Pennsylvania State University and completed her Master of Science in Nursing at New York University Rory Meyers College of Nursing where she received her Family Nurse Practitioner degree as well as a subspecialty in Holistic care. Nicole is dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to all of her patients and their families. Her collaborative approach to offering patient centered care allows her patients to feel heard, respected, and well cared for.Nicole is an active member of Weill Cornell's Professional Practice Education Committee and is a member of American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
