Dr Thomas is originally from Dallas, TX and received his initial medical training at Ross University School of Medicine. He then went onto the University of Oklahoma for training in Internal Medicine. After graduating residency, he served on faculty at the University of Oklahoma as an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine. He then transitioned to UT Southwestern for a professorship position while practicing inpatient medicine taking care of critically ill patients.  He is transitioning to the realm of primary care to bring his medical expertise to more of the front lines.  After years of working in the hospital and take care of critically ill patients, he's noticed first hand how important prevention is. Preventing hypertension.
