Dr Melvin Simien is a dual board-certified gastroenterologist and internal medicine physician as well as an advanced therapeutic endoscopist who believes in utilizing his unique skillset to optimize his patient's health and well-being.  After graduating from LSU Medical School in Louisiana, Dr Simien completed his internal medicine residency at Methodist Hospital in Dallas, TX.  He then completed his GI fellowship at UTMB in Galveston, TX and continued on for a sub-fellowship in advanced therapeutic endoscopy under the mentorship of world-renowned experts at GI Associates in Milwaukee, WI.
