Suvin Banker, DO earned his medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY. He then completed his residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Gastroenterology & Hepatology at Stony Brook University Hospital in New York where he served as the chief fellow. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology. Throughout his training, Dr Banker took a special interest in studying refractory reflux disease in 9/11 responders and workers who are followed by the World Trade Center Medical Monitoring and Treatment Program. He is also passionate about colon cancer prevention, inflammatory bowel and liver diseases.
