Dr Dassopoulos is the Medical Director of the Baylor Center for Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IBD). He earned his medical degree at Brown University before completing a residency in Internal Medicine at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. Dr Dassopoulos was fellowship trained in Gastroenterology at the University of Chicago. Prior to joining Baylor Scott & White Health, Dr Dassopoulos served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore and as an Associate Professor of Medicine and Director of the Section of Inflammatory Diseases at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.
