Dr Nerenz is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin and a Co-Director of Clinical Chemistry at Wisconsin Diagnostic Laboratories. He received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and completed a Clinical Chemistry fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis. Dr Nerenz is attending faculty for the MCW Pathology Clinical Chemistry rotation, where he enjoys leading residents in didactic teaching sessions. In his clinical role, Dr Nerenz works closely with clinicians to help interpret laboratory test results and apply measured values to guide care decisions.
