Dr Joon-Bom (Albert) Kim grew up in central Illinois and Korea. He received his bachelor's degree from Northwestern University, and his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine. He then completed his internship and ophthalmology residency at University of Rochester. Following this, he completed two ophthalmology fellowships: first in uveitis and ocular inflammation at University of Washington and second in medical retina at Duke University. After training in different regions of the country, he is excited to return to the Midwest and join faculty at the Medical College of Wisconsin. My goal is to provide high quality clinical care to prevent vision loss in patients with uveitis and retinal conditions.
