Prior to joining Lynn Cancer Institute in 2006, Dr. DeCesarecompleted her internal medicine residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. She also completed a postdoctoral fellowship in hematology and oncology at the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center in Miami.
Dr. DeCesare’s research has been published in multiple chapters of Breast Cancer: A Practical Guide and several academic publications.
She takes the time to listen to and understand each patient and family, so she can provide the best treatment possible while incorporating their wishes.
When she’s not taking care of patients, Dr. DeCesare enjoys traveling.

Teresa Gagliano-DeCesare, M.D., is a board-certified oncologist at the Eugene M. & Christine E. Lynn Cancer Institute, part of Baptist Health, at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. Dr. DeCesare specializes in breast oncology.
