Arthur L Valadie, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in sports medicine, arthroscopy, and knee and shoulder reconstruction. Dr Valadie earned his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine in Miami, Florida, where he also completed his residency in orthopedic surgery. He then went on to complete a fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine from the world-renowned Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles, California. Dr Valadie treats patients of all ages with a special interest in athletic injuries in both the young and aging athlete. He is currently the team physician for the Pittsburgh Pirates, the U.S. Soccer Team, IMG Academy, and State College of Florida.
